PrismVertex LLC (“PrismVertex”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) publishes PDF Editor X (the “App”), an Android application for reading, editing, annotating, and signing PDF documents.

This Privacy Policy explains what information is handled when you use the App, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

1. Information Handled by the App

Documents and Content

PDF Editor X is designed to process your documents locally on your Android device.

The following information remains on your device and is not uploaded to PrismVertex servers through the App’s PDF editing features:

• PDF document contents.
• Text edits and annotations.
• Highlights, drawings, and notes.
• Electronic signatures created in the App.
• Other document-related editing information.

The App does not provide account-based document storage or cloud synchronization.

You select the PDFs and images you want to open using Android’s system file picker or supported file-access interfaces. The App accesses the files you select for the features you request.

Personal Information

The App does not require you to provide your name, email address, phone number, postal address, contacts, calendar, SMS messages, or call logs to use its PDF editing features.

2. Advertising and Google AdMob

PDF Editor X is free and supported by advertisements provided through Google AdMob, an advertising service operated by Google.

When the App requests advertisements and your device has an internet connection, Google and its advertising partners may collect or process certain device and advertising-related information.

This information may include:

• Android Advertising ID, where available and permitted.
• IP address, which may be used to determine an approximate location or region.
• Device model and operating system information.
• App version and advertising SDK information.
• Advertisement impressions and interactions.
• Diagnostics, fraud prevention, and advertising performance information.

The exact information processed depends on your device settings, location, advertising configuration, and applicable consent choices.

PrismVertex does not use advertising information to identify the contents of your PDF documents. Google processes advertising-related information under its own privacy policies and applicable terms.

Advertising requests require an internet connection. When your device is offline, the App cannot load new online advertisements. This does not mean that Google deletes information it previously processed.

Advertising Choices

• You can reset or delete your Android Advertising ID, or adjust advertising privacy settings through your Android device settings. Available options vary by Android version.
• Where required by applicable law, advertising consent choices are presented through Google’s consent tools or other applicable in-app controls.
• You can review Google’s advertising technologies and data practices at Google Advertising Technologies .

3. Permissions and File Access

The App may use the following Android permissions and capabilities:

The App’s PDF features do not require access to your contacts, SMS messages, call logs, microphone, or location.

Android may display system file-access interfaces when you select documents. The exact permissions shown may vary depending on your Android version and the features enabled in the installed App version.

4. How Information Is Used

Information handled by the App and its advertising provider is used for the following purposes:

• Providing PDF reading, editing, annotation, and signing features.
• Importing and exporting documents selected by you.
• Displaying and measuring advertisements through Google AdMob.
• Advertising security and fraud prevention.
• Diagnosing advertising delivery issues.
• Complying with applicable legal requirements.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Documents and edits stored on your device remain there until you delete them, clear the App’s data, remove the relevant files, or uninstall the App.

PrismVertex does not maintain a server-side copy of your PDF documents and cannot restore documents deleted from your device.

Google determines the retention period for information processed through AdMob according to its own policies and applicable laws.

6. Sharing of Information

PrismVertex does not sell your personal information. The App does not share your PDF document contents, annotations, or signatures with PrismVertex or Google for advertising purposes.

Google may process advertising-related information through AdMob under its own terms and privacy policies.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law or where necessary to protect legal rights, safety, and security.

7. Children’s Privacy

PDF Editor X is not directed to children under the age of 13, or the equivalent minimum age under applicable law.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Advertising services may apply their own age-related requirements and restrictions.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable laws, you may have the right to:

• Request access to your personal information.
• Request correction or deletion of personal information.

• Submit a complaint to your local data protection authority.

Since PDF documents and edits are processed locally, you can generally manage or delete them directly on your device.

9. Security

PDF Editor X is designed to keep document processing on your device rather than transmitting your PDFs to PrismVertex servers.

Android’s application sandbox and file-access controls help restrict access to App data and selected files.

Advertising-related communications are handled by Google and its services. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. You should protect your device and maintain backups of important documents.

10. International Data Processing

Google may process advertising-related information on servers located in countries other than the country where you live.

Such processing is subject to Google’s privacy terms and the safeguards it applies under applicable data protection laws.

PrismVertex does not transfer your PDF documents to Google through the App’s PDF editing features.

11. Third-Party Services

PDF Editor X uses third-party services for advertising and app distribution.

Third-party services are governed by their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review those policies to understand how those providers handle information.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, our practices, or applicable legal requirements change.

When changes are made, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be described in the App’s Google Play release notes where appropriate.
